The route actually goes straight through a tree at one point. When you're first leading to the end of that pitch, you really have to question whether it's a good idea to climb up through the tree with the haul line and all. Surprisingly, it doesn't work out too badly -- there's a hole through the branches that's just big enough to get everything through with a minimum of grunt work. After a couple days in the reflector oven, it's quite nice to belay in a shady corner and listen to the rustle of leaves for once.
